Dancing Bears is the technical consulting practice of Ward Clark, a user experience designer, software developer, and Web site developer with a passion for all things Macintosh (who also does Windows).

Ward is the champion of the Users. He applies user-centered design principles to make sure everything makes sense and is easy to use. Ward has been a User Experience engineer since 1990, and has designed visual programming, Web store technology and other simplifying technology at Digital Equipment, Open Market, and elsewhere.

Ward is currently an independent software developer and consultant focusing on designing and developing solutions for small business. He is co-developer of the Exclamation Desktop Web Publisher and uses Exclamation as the basis for creating and enhancing small business Web sites.

The inspiration for the "Dancing Bears" name is a family of 70+ teddy bears who party day and night.
